Who is the real you?

Who is the real you?

All human being are made up of these five main parts:

The real you is your soul, not your body, mind, heart or emotional self.

Your soul was created in aalam-e-arwaah (the world of souls) and sent down into your body for a short worldly test. To be successful in this test, you need to have the right reactions in life’s challenging situations.

This programme aims to teach you how to do this through purifying your body, mind and heart.

The three stages of purification

It starts with the purification of the body, mind and finally the heart.

Stage one: the body

Stage one: the body

Allah ﷻ has given us seven organs with which we interact with other people. These are our eyes, ears, tongue, stomach, hands, private parts and feet. With these organs we can either benefit or harm others.

Sometimes we may unconsciously harm others through these organs, for example with our tongue we may gossip about someone without realising the hurt it would cause them if they were to hear about it, this also causes us spiritual harm.

The aim of the first stage of purification is to learn to take responsibility of our seven organs, so that we are in complete control of our own bodies and are able to benefit creation.

Stage two: the mind

Now that we have taken control of our seven organs, we can learn to master our mind and thoughts.

When a negative thought enters our mind, we make the intention to carry it out with our heart. However, at the beginning, the action is presented in the form of a small spark and thought. At this point it is easy to take control of the action. However, if the spark turns into a flame it takes over the whole heart and mind which subsequently leads to us using our organs to carry out the negative action.

The aim of the second stage of purification is to achieve the skills to redirect our thoughts to thinking positively and lawfully.

Stage three: the heart

Stage three: the heart

Once the body and mind has learnt to be more aware of the presence of Allah ﷻ, we learn to remove negative traits from our heart such as jealousy, arrogance, pride and greed, and replace them with good virtues such as humility, sincerity, gratitude and repentance.

In life, we all experience happiness and sadness. The purification of the heart teaches us to have the right reactions when we experience these emotions, so that these experiences can be rewarding for us in this life and the hereafter.

For example, the right reaction to happiness is to recognise that 100% of the goodness is from Allah ﷻ and not from our own efforts. And the right reaction to sadness is to recognise that in every calamity there will be a hidden message and blessings from Allah, hence we learn to focus on the positive side of it, and not to become agitated, forgetting the mercy of Allah ﷻ.

A scientifically proven programme

A scientifically proven programme

The aim of the programme is to change your thoughts, which then changes your actions, which then changes your habits, which then changes your character, eventually changing your life for the better.

We have all struggled removing bad habits and forming better ones. The programme teaches you a simple and practical system of only focusing on one new habit at a time, reviewing it daily and achieving 30 consecutive days of the new habit.

This methodology of changing your habits through redirecting your thoughts for a set period of time is scientifically proven to help refine your character, so that you can become the best version of yourself.
